The MEDIA is the little version of the ULTRA SIERRA NEVADA. The route, checkpoints and aid stations are the same as the 25 kilometers from Pinos Genil to Pradollano, where the finish line of the four modalities is installed.
It is designed to offer an alternative with less physical demanding and a bigger timeframe for those who want to be part of the ULTRA SIERRA NEVADA environment.
MEDIA has the start line at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday 6 April at Pinos Genil.
MEDIA has an accumulated altitude of 2.100m+ and 750m-. With the character of semi-autonomy the MEDIA has a maximum time of 5 hours to be completed. The maximum bib numbers available are 450

The withdrawn runners will be transferred to Pradollano as soon as possible at the end of the refreshment post.
FINISH LINE
There will be generalised and/or random material controls at any point along the route. Failure to wear any of these items will result in the immediate invalidation of the race bib.
It is also allowed the use of spiked mountain shoes specific for ice and snow races (with built-in spike system).
Upper clothing (It is not mandatory to run with it):
The MEDIA will have a checkroom service with a single bag that will be delivered at the start and will be collected at the finish line.
Due to the great difference in weather conditions between the different sections of the Ultra Sierra Nevada course and the impossibility of knowing for sure the weather during the race, the mandatory equipment indicated will be MANDATORY from start to finish.
It may seem excessive but in the mountains you never know what can happen and in case of accident this material is vital.
We recommend consulting the weather forecast the days before to choose the material to use.

The organisers have also planned a FREE shuttle bus service for all runners finishing in Pradollano and wishing to go to Granada, which will connect Pradollano with Granada, where the Ultra Sierra Nevada starts.
